mid-December already???!!

Where has time gone? It certainly hasn't been spent on the TSKPs (Top Secret Knitting Projects): I had 6 items to complete and progress to date consists of 9 rows on the first one. Ooops. And I rather urgently need to get on with some jellyfish and anemones for the IFF's crochet reef in LA. Think the TSKPs will have to be handed over at Easter. (Note to self: do I really dare give IOU notes for Xmas?)

Ma's surprise party was a huge success and though I wasn't actually there, I was thrilled to find half a bottle of champagne waiting for me when I got home from work. Bookselling has been huge fun--I'll miss the job when the contract ends soon--and I'm now keeping my eyes out for new employ.

Must dash: I've got brooch backs to sew on ready for the market tomorrow and a top secret wet felting/sewing project to complete.

where've you been working? I once did a Christmas stint at Ottakar's and really enjoyed it (although could have done without having to work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day and all saturdays and sundays!)

IOU's are fine for Xmas, I am giving one myself. I realised I hadn't knit anything for Karl's neice and
a) by the time i remembered knew it wouldn't be done in time
b) we haven't seen er for 3mths so not sure what size wold be best considering how quick babies grow
so I am going to use my limited computer/design skills to make a 'gift voucher' and give it to amelia's mum.
I was wondering where you were working too.

I have to be honest and tell you that i can't get my head round the crochet coral reef but hey....whatever rocks your boat xxx Another job winding down, hope you find new employ but not too soon so you can do some yarny homework. Perhaps we can do a spin in sometime? Sorry you missed your Ma's do, but champagne is a good substitute! Lol at my word verification 'fooket'!
